Hoy en d\u00eda, el Pic du Midi es un lugar de renombre para la observaci\u00f3n astron\u00f3mica, y se pueden descubrir las principales investigaciones realizadas desde esta cumbre pirenaica.<\/p><p>El Pic du Midi ha sido recientemente designado Reserva Internacional del Cielo Oscuro, y es tambi\u00e9n un lugar para preservar la calidad de la noche.
